The incident in #Minneapolis is the 286th mass #shooting event of 2025. Since January at least 246 people were killed, 1,292 injured and 44 states impacted. Red states lead in both frequency and fatalities accounting for 55% of all mass shootings and 60% of deaths and injuries.

According #NATO head Mark Rutte, $50 billion in weapons went to Ukraine in 2024 - 60% paid for by #EU countries. But Europe will need to pay more in 2025 as #US signals reduced support to Ukraine. Rutte says defense spending must rise “considerably more than 3%” of GDP. #MSC2025

Russia has expanded its targeting campaign across #Europe. Multiple attacks against deep-sea cables, munitions factories, logistics facilities, and public utilities over the past year. Sabotage events also doubled in #Russia in 2024 compared to 2023. It’s looking less and less like a shadow war.
