On the flip side, too, I can’t imagine seeing a company whose advertisements outright say that their customer base can’t think for themselves and reaching any conclusion *other* than “hmm, this company is calling me an idiot, so I will not buy their products.”

I keep seeing ads where some guy has to ask a bot when his girlfriend’s birthday is or what’s her favorite color and it really highlights how their customer base consists entirely of people who can’t be bothered to do the bare minimum.

This has the potential to devastate the program’s credibility and reputation. If you want to add text describing the unique identifying features of organisms, you have literally built an entire system used by thousands of experts who can provide this information!

“Returning to Their Waters/Shores” is interesting, it kind of implies that the animals might come back to inhabit the world once they’ve adapted to modern conditions.
