I eventually finished my training in the more orthodox Cessna 172 and, while I haven't been current for years, I'm slowly buy steadily working my way towards flying on the regular again :-)
So, if you do have any Cub experiences, I really would love to hear them!

My first instructor was a close friend who could fly a Cub for fuel. I paid for the gas and he gave my lessons. It was wonderful learning in it, and while I got pretty good with takeoffs and landings, I wasn't able to get proficient enough to solo before it went down for maintenance and was sold ☹️
