Mostly retired researcher, three amazing daughters. Studied the role of numeracy in decision making also patient activation. Chickadees, squirrels, kestrels. Old cis white guy with tons of useless knowledge.
I was taught it in the 60s at UCSD but not with much enthusiasm. Essentially, they said, "observe how much developing mammals look like fish."

I loaned my dvd to a friend, admittedly conservative but not evangelical. He hated it. Didn't find it funny, moving, or profound. Go figure.

I'm surprised that methane is not discussed more. It stays in the atmosphere for less time than CO2 so if we can curtail emissions we should see faster progress.

This is so important. The trap of "When YOU do this" is very appealing. Only when I recognize that I do this, and will probably keep doing it, do I begin to move on.
