Feeling good about this one actually. Look how much she's smiling, that could be me.

Almost any job in a competitive field will have multiple applicants with good qualifications who could succeed at it, the deciding factor can be something arbitrary/out of your control, and some people need a story about how that's someone else's fault instead of just a part of life that's hard.

Mixing ground meat with less expensive ingredients to stretch it further and then make sure it is well seasoned to still be flavorful is obviously wide spread across many cultures, but specifically in a loaf pan for some reason? That feels super American.

Tech guy at the start: Star Trek is actually a poor reference point for our product because although it will end scarcity we also predict an end to any form of military organization

I watched Attack of the Clones with my son a few years ago and hadn’t remembered that it has ideas that could have made for a decent movie, but it executes them so badly and is such garbage visually.

I think the episode works so well because as amateurish as it is, the movie has reasonable pacing. Scenes are there for a reason and the plot moves keeps moving forward, so there is constantly new stuff to riff on. There are none of those shots of a guy taking 3 full minutes to get out of his car.

The pork hot links were somewhat acceptable, but this is the item that even the most mid places in Texas can execute. Everything else was just sort of lightly seasoned and grilled, so tough ribs with no smoke flavor, etc. Not horrible, but the Longhorn on the truck was definitely stolen valor.

Also the "American" section at my supermarket, featuring 4 different flavors of Warheads soda.

You do not want the low country's take on either of these items. We had a work event featuring "Texas BBQ", and there were at least two things wrong with that title.

I have moved Killdozer's "For Ladies Only" at least 5 times and once across the Atlantic because putting it on after a nice evening hosting encourages people to say good night and leave so I can go to bed.
