Generally completely agree that it’s super accurate! But they killed me with their AWFUL depiction of an anesthesiologist in ep 12. My colleagues and I love this show and that one hurt

I was so excited to see anesthesia represented in this show bc they’ve done everything so well and then they GUTTED me with their rep of an anesthesiologist. Great episode but that fucking hurt. All the other specialties are shown as at least competent. Off topic but yeah can’t stop thinking abt it

Was so excited to see anesthesia represented in a show that so far has done everything right. Absolutely gutted that they chose this otherwise INCREDIBLE episode to slam anesthesia. Maybe no one else noticed, but fuck that one hurt.

Off topic but truly gutted by the depiction of an anesthesiologist in this ep. My anesthesia colleagues and I love this show for its accuracy and it was depressing to see anes once again denigrated. I was so excited to see anes be treated w/ the respect the show has shown other specialties.

Meanwhile, they heap opprobrium on our trans friends who are just trying to “play by society’s basic rules.” Turnabout is fair play?

Just because you “sincerely believe” that being gay will get you a ticket straight to hell or that a woman’s place is in the home doesn’t automatically justify that belief! Newsflash: some of these beliefs ARE abhorrent and deserve opprobrium
