What if a bagel place has already decided to put my bagel order on its menu, giving it my name, and keeps it on there coming up on 3 years because of its popularity?

From the conservative Cato Institute, politically motivated violence is rare in the US, and excluding 9/11, right wing ideology has been the predominant motivation (Jan 1, 1975 to Sep 10, 2025)

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

I wasn’t sure how much I’d like this based on the description I was given, but I finished it in four days, ha. Really splendid, and found myself thinking of many memories throughout my life.

Sunbringer (Fallen Gods #2) by Hannah Kaner

Another fun and easy series to go through. Always appreciate Gods with dramatic human emotions

The Dark Tower (Dark Tower #7) by Stephen King

It really sucked to have to say goodbye to these characters. I was about to just stop reading so I never finished and could imagine my own ending. Maybe I should have 😭

Godkiller (Fallen Gods #1) by Hannah Kaner.

Fun book that was easy and quick to go through. Maybe a little young adult-ish, but I still plan on following Kissen into the next one.

Song of Susannah (Dark Tower #6) by Stephen King

I’ve essentially ignored Stephen King books (for no particular reason) until my wife convinced me to give this series a try. So bummed there’s only one left! My to read list is filled with King books now though

Exit Strategy (Murderbot Diaries #4) by Martha Wells.

Whatever I had planned for the day usually gets swept aside when I get a @libbyapp.com notification that the next Murderbot book is ready for me.

Also, if you haven’t checked out @thestorygraph.com yet, make the switch.

Hell Bent (Alex Stern #2) by Leigh Bardugo

Wasn’t sure how much id like the story continuing from the first book, but it kept growing on me.

Rogue Protocol (Murderbot Diaries #3) - Martha Wells

Everything about these books is great except the wait from the library. But that means people are using the library, which is also great 😭

Apropos of nothing, I once volunteered for a study in undergrad that had me smoke 3 cigarettes at 7am. It poured that morning, and I was standing behind a brick academic building while a grad student held an umbrella over my head.
