"Dinner Cookies" is definitely one of my favorite rides in Brendon's World, but "Zune's Revenge" is not far behind

I think the only thing the bigger combat arenas are missing are big title cards just like for bosses, I feel like it would turn so many people from viewing them as just an exploration roadblock to how they see bosses.

One of the most interesting things for me to hear from the developers would be the inclusion of the shards system and the details of the implementation. Not that I'm against it, but I feel like there's a story behind a system like this in a game like Silksong.

Worth noting that I never experienced anything close to binge drinking, so my comparison might be completely off, but I believe that's how it feels.

I wouldn't even call it a paraphrase to be honest, looks like OP just tried to come up with the bug description that would've produced the patch note in question, but it ended up being something very different from the original bug report

Nothing inserting not just bloatware, but full on lock screen ads and Facebook tracking in the next version of OS is a stark example, especially because it's happening so out of nowhere and after building a huge part of the image on "no bloat" messaging

one of the classic japanese game hobbiests, Kenta Cho recently tied together 111 of his single-button games into an old-school wario-ware you can play on your phone (he's been making tiny free games since the 80s)

So I made the smallest game I could.

This is sapito, a tiny daily classic roguelike, with a new level every day. Super simple, but finished! My plan is to keep updating it over time.

An alternative question: is there any section/boss/part of Silksong that you personally would prefer to be even harder?

Silksong and other hard games can be genuinely frustrating at times: sometimes it's intentional, sometimes it's an oversight. How do you distinguish between those? Is there a point in trying to distinguish those at all?

Congratulations! What did your total playtime end up being?

I played through Hollow Knight a couple of times, but that was a long time ago and I purposefully didn't play it again before Silksong — and I also felt Silksong was harder. To me it felt way more inviting at the very-very beginning, but then it ramped up the "no mistakes allowed" really fast

You can also then wake up from the nap and play some videogames while eating ice cream (source: experience)

What's your favorite little mechanical change from Hollow Knight? Movement, combat, economy, charms system, weapons system — anything counts.
