I'm in the same boat as you, so i try to remember overall traits of individual families. I'm not familiar with Pentaceros specifically, but it's a good guess. Boarfishes/Pentacerotids tend to have a more squat body and longer dorsal spines (but not always)

I think it's a Morwong - family Latridae. Maybe look at Nemadactylus bergi
