I'll be interested in the results of today's Canadian election which being reported as a referendum on "Trumpism", will likely be a good indicator of of how the Australian vote will go. More than any particular left/right result, I'm hoping for a rejection of Trump-style populism in both countries

The UN Security Council has been broken for a long time and should be reworked:

* No veto
* 8 non-permanent members voted in the same as now

More representative, more dynamic and more effective.

Foucault's Pendulum was installed in the Pantheon, Paris, by Léon Foucault in 1851 to prove that the Earth is not fixed, but rotating. This replica hangs from the dome of the Pantheon today, after the original brass bob was damaged in a fall. Photos by me.

I have another account that showcases the South Australian marine life as featured on my web site. Feel free to give it a follow, and/or follow me if you'd prefer a bit more varied content.
The coasts of South Australia host an incredible diversity of life and its rugged beauty rivals that of the tropics. Featuring almost 700 species, this guide can help you find & recognise these remarkable organisms.
