Have you seen Fenske's @simonkids.bsky.social Candy Corn Christmas? It makes my cut of "books I actually want to read repeatedly out loud to my grandson". Very, very few books do.

Ooh! I used to also send 35 cents and three Wrights seam binding wrappers and would get an envelope of random decorative bindings for doll clothes. That was the best!

A buck or two. I had several sample spoons, but my father somehow ended up with them. They were great when you saw a pattern you really liked but couldn't get the whole set. Sigh.

I really miss the Betty Crocker catalog. We saved those points like they were actual money. Still have my mom's 1958 Twin Star Oneida silverware that was acquired that way!
