Can't wait for those clowns to waste more taxpayer $$ "investigating" this.

NH didn't vote for this clown show administration or this policy and we don't owe them any "service"!

Agree with you there! There are too many spineless self-serving people in congress who do not have Americans' best interests at heart.

So while you hold out for things to get where you want them to be before you participate again, real people and marginalized groups are getting hurt and our country is sliding further and further into the gutter.

It's odd that you'd accuse me of not understanding nuance. Your "both are parties are equally as bad" is stale 2000 Nader narrative. Everyone knows they are both in the pockets or corporations. It's a systemic problem. Meanwhile in 2025, one party has turned to fascism and the other one has not.

There was this redistricting reform act. The Republicans killed the bill, not Biden.

Yes it is ultimately about gerrymandering! If they weren't allowed to gerrymander, why redraw the maps in the first place? The reason Texas is doing it is so the GOP can hold onto seats that they would otherwise lose next election by rigging the map in their favor! It's very obvious!

Article 1, Section 2 talks about the # of reps per state but it doesn't lay out any guidelines on when or how district maps are to be drawn or by whom so it's left up to the states. It's a loophole. That's why states have been gerrymandering since the 19th century.

The super conservative SCOTUS already ruled that the Constitution does not prevent states from gerrymandering back in 2024. So the only way to stop it is to pass a law outlawing it nationwide and the only way to do that is to get a supermajority in congress to override a certain veto by Dump.

Until an anti-gerrymandering law is passed by congress and signed into federal law, this the game everyone is forced to play right now.

That's a shame
