This morning, shortly before I was due to go out, these photos were posted on my neighbourhood watch WhatsApp group.
I glance at them and assume people are making bad jokes, because the photos don't make any sense (see alt text) 1/

Thankfully, I stayed on. But bloody hell, Renfri, the world doesn’t need more drama right now.

But even a year post adoption, it still feels weird that a dog can leave and enter my bedroom whenever he likes unless I lock the door.
The younger one has not acquired the skill…she just gets him when she wants a door opened.
Kind of funny, yet eerie.

People said a lot of shit to me yesterday, but this was the only comment that sliced. I suspect the poster said it as a "gotcha"-as in, "Could you imagine if YOUR parents had ever said something like that to you?"
Thing is, I don't have to imagine it - my parents did, especially my mother.

The group near me was struggling, until I jumped in and made a fool out of myself.
Then they relaxed and did great.
Well done to iOceans for putting on such a great event.
The kids were a delight.

That we often loose our best ideas by worrying. But we can fix those details later, after our words are down.

I only had to use them for one child who reads and writes slower. The kid got super nervous so I offered it to him.
But the rest of the kids managed to do it all on their own.

Every kid wrote something.

The kids could write a letter to the sea, a sea poem, or sea-themed short story.
(Vid is me during the demo. Each group of kids got to choose the three “sea” things I would link together for an environment sea tale.

Loki, on the right, is 10 kg heavier and much further along in the training.
Io, on the left, lost confidence and became very reactive after her ear op. Yet people keep un clipping their dogs to play with her…even AFTER I warn them. Gah.
