Mostly retired software engineer with a cello addiction.
Willful blindness. He's been told about it, but won't look at the evidence.

The Uncommitted movement was for the primaries. He only refused to support Biden to be the nominee of the party. I am not aware that he refused to support the Democratic nominee in the general election. Can you document this claim? If not, then your last paragraph is based on a false premise.

I don't know, he has a lot of competition for that title - Louie Gohmert, Tommy Tuberville, and the current resident of the White House come to mind instantly.

Oh, come now. Surely the pen factory can't be all that big.

From the opening sentence I thought you were talking about the risk of getting prosecuted by the current regime for providing material support for terrorism.

Old school conservative George Will quit the Republican party when it nominated Trump in 2016. He knew that Trump was a populist demagogue, not a conservative.

This problem is due to USDA. RFK halted development of a human vaccine to prepare against bird flu mutating to become easily transmissible to humans.

So he doesn't have a deal, he has a concept of a deal. That tracks.

But Mike, you're missing the big picture here! He's made Rolls Royces more affordable! So what color are you buying?

Ideas found to be illegal (as determined by executive order by Glorious Leader) will be deported to El Salvador.

Along with anyone, citizen or not, who is found to be harboring those illegal ideas.

"Well over" indeed. Figure I saw for US consumption was 3.4 billion pounds.

Yes. I love hanger steak. I don't mind chewing. Ribeye is easier to come by, though, so I get it more often.

But still - lammmmmb.

It is always possible to cook beef badly, viz., the ironically-named "well-done".

This isn't any kind of flex. I simply posted relevant facts regardless of who it hurts or helps. It's how I roll. Truth matters.

If you're saying Biden shouldn't have solicited new bids, he had to. Federal contracting law mandates periodic recompetes. I work as a contractor and know this. 1/

I have also heard that Americans prioritize tenderness, while other countries prioritize flavor.

This may explain why I prefer lamb to beef.

To be fair, I think there is meat here you'd like, but it is probably too pricey to show up at a BBQ joint.

It wasn't in-house before. The previous contractor was called Fluor, and the bid process started under Biden.

While I am absolutely not saying there was zero corruption in the award, the contract bid process started under Biden. This was not a sneaky middle-of-the-night sudden thing.

Does he really think that nobody will notice that nowhere in that verbal squid ink is an actual denial?

It would not surprise me if Trump started arresting and deporting Canadians, Mexicans, Chinese, and Europeans under the Alien Enemies Act because we are now in a trade war with them, and that's also a war, isn't it?

If you let them get away with it just because they were right in this one instance, what's to stop them from doing it to you when they're wrong?
