I enjoy wine, food and travel. I love taking photos, but don’t consider myself a photographer. Sitting in the backyard with a good book also pleases me. Good shoes are essential. I write here: pullthatcork.com

Notre Vue Estate was established by Bob and Renée Stein in 1992 on a 710-acre property east of Highway 101 between Healdsburg and Windsor. The picturesque property is home to 250 acres of vineyards and 350 acres of “Forever Wild” protected open space. The winery’s French name, Notre Vue, translates to “our view” and acknowledges the gorgeous views of both rolling hills covered in vineyards and all the wild space.

A couple of follow-ups re: today's California #quakes:
1) There was actually only one significant quake as of 1pm PT--the M7.0 SW of Eureka. The far northern Sonoma County quake was actually ~M4.1 but initially registered higher due to conflicting data. [1/3]

Love the cool-vintage character in this wine with a bit of dried tomato leaf. Lovely fruit flavors, acidity and tannin structure as well. Still youthful. 🍷 #wine #NapaValley

Missteps by Zuck and Elon have supercharged Bluesky, for sure, but not all things are hopping yet. Here's my modest effort on wine, people in the biz, and/or those who mostly post about it. Sadly, some good names here are barely posting at all. Maybe that will change. #wine
