The Minneapolis VA Medical Center got it’s CMS rating today; based on mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and access. We are one of 2 (out of 19) Twin cities hospitals to get the highest 5-star rating. The VA is outstanding- but under threat.

IFX+AZA vs AZA in ASUC pts who responded to IV steroids (ACTIVE trial)

- n=64, bio-naive pts
- steroids stopped after d7 (combo arm), d14 (AZA arm)
- IFX dose escalation to 10mg/kg allowed
- no deaths or colectomy
- IFX/AZA had lower rates of "failure" by week 52
