I feel better about my housekeeping now, for some odd reason.
A small bird's nest of grayish fluff on a bed of small sticks. It's a well made nest, level and round. It just happens to be surrounded by trash, because it's on the rocky ground between railroad ties. The earpieces of my glasses are blurrily foregrounded, but that's just because I'm a really bad photographer and the train was coming so I couldn't get a better shot

If you're not going to go with the "a pair of readers every 3 ft." strategy, you have to go full granny-mode.

An empty patch of floor between a bed and a kitchen floor. There is a messy kitchen island with 3 drawers facing out. That patch of carpet hasn't been vacuumed in literal years, there was always! a pile of clothes there.

Moving a sofa through a bunk bed is easy. Here, I found a diagram for you

I just went to have a smoke on my balcony and found this. I don't own the pot this belongs to.
A stainless steel lid for a soup pot on a concrete floor. It simply appeared there. I have no idea how it arrived, when, or why it's on a covered balcony 8 stories up. Also pictured are my confused feet and the legs of random chairs

A shipping update which shows the package, originally scheduled to be delivered Saturday, still isn't yet out for delivery, but it's expected on the 19th. It's now the 20th and I'm glad it wasn't a prescription! 2 day shipping. The store is in town. All this for a jumpsuit I already kniw I'm returning

I got to quietly walk on a park trail and get pretty close to a hawk yesterday. Then 2 guys tromped past w/o any regard for the mighty hunter, and it took offense and flew away
