I quit facebook, instagram, threads and whatsapp cold turkey one night 2 weeks ago. Just could not abide anything Meta anymore. Am doing OK. Figure that the friends I kept in touch with via FB will get on touch when they want/need to.

I had only recently discovered Greenwood in Denis Lehane's novel, The Given Day. A great novel. This was Greenwood in about 1917. I had no idea about the later massacre. Devastating. American history is very dark.

I have just quit all things Meta even though facebook did provide me with connection with friends from decades ago. But we will forge new pathways. Continuing with Meta is too dangerous for the planet.
