I ran into a friend from college almost in front of my building who is in town for the meow mix extravaganza. we kvelled over Zohran and how neither of us seem to age. Now I'm gonna do spooky crafts and watch movies!

got the 25/26 Moderna vaccine without a problem. I had to reconfirm that I'm a former smoker with depression and an "obese" BMI, even though I already filled that out, but they didn't notice or care when my last vaccine was (late May, fucking sue me). The pharmacist said they gave out 78 yesterday.

the reading Rufus organized was delightful. we also saw some really great cats.

during our evening outing, we passed the lead singer of Pinc Clouds, who was happy to see Rufus wearing their shirt, and then Sam Rockwell ordered food to go while we were waiting for our check. (everyone played it cool.) also, fireflies!

then we went to the fancy veggie burger joint that used to be Odessa, which was disgusting and perfect at 3 am for post-pyramid fries. it was nearly empty, which is odd -- one reason we'd never been is I fucking refuse to wait in their absurd lines. it was delicious (but I'm still not waiting).
