In 2025, WA’s electricity bills skyrocketed by 13.2%. Thanks to Trump and the GOP siding with fossil fuel corporations over cheaper green sources of energy. They gutted clean-energy investments, leaving Washingtonians in the dark.

The government shuts down on March 14 unless Congress passes a new spending bill. Republicans need Democratic votes to pass anything, but they’re pushing a budget that slashes essential programs, attacks basic rights, and hands unchecked power over to Trump, Elon Musk, and their billionaire allies.
