Yeah, it's really convenient that the shooter's texts just happen to confirm the narrative they had concocted before they had any information. And fully outline everything he did in exsquisite detail while he was trying to get away.

You know, not that I want transmen to experience terf behaviour, and I realise that they experience erasure and other issues, but I note that there is not the same rabid condemnation for them. Feminism benefits everyone. It reminds me of the gatekeeping against bis.

I always say I have dysthymia instead of persistent depressive disorder. People will automatically think they know what pdd is, but they will have to ask what dysthymia is. It's a time to educate.

It's time to start reminding cops and soldiers that they are us, that they are tools of the elite who will never ascend. They need to be encouraged to choose their own communities, neighbours, and families. Class is the true divide.

I still haven't gotten my final grades. I still haven't had answers from the insurance people or restoration people. I have to do at least some of my own packing, haul my kid and dog around in peak vacation season during the year Canadians are only traveling in Canada. Then unpack all my stuff.

Autism has not increased. Diagnosis of Autism has. There was no Down Syndrome until Down Syndrome was officially recognised as an actual diagnosis. Then suddenly, Down Syndrome diagnoses increased!
Before epilepsy was described and diagnosable, a bunch of people just had demons in them.

Sometimes I think about how my daughter was mainstreamed all through elementary school with an adapted academic program in the name of inclusion.
But the school never actually worked for inclusion.

"68er Generation" is the term used to describe the protests of German Youth after discovering their parents had been complicit in the Nazi regime. They hadn't been taught about it, and it was a serious reckoning. I wonder what the next generations will think about MAGA. How embarrassed will they be?

I think that businesses over a certain size, property developers, and governments should pay rent to the Indigenous Peoples' on whose land they are profiting. It isn't charity, it's an acknowledgement that they can't use the land to their fullest benefit because we're here.
