I inherited a student created portrait of JFK with a misshapen head. It makes the rounds between the principal’s offices these days. Maybe you can “rehome” the furniture somewhere more inconvenient for everyone else and then it will just…disappear?

I talked with the kid about how there are loads of books about those characters and about how it’s important to read books about people who are different than we are, but I always feel underprepared for that conversation.
