In our new paper we have described several new species of Hypoxylaceae and found that the genus Rostrohypoxylon is obsolete because it is nested in Annulohypoxylon in the multi-locus phylogeny. Secondary metabolite profiles of all taxa are also reported.

BMC has published one of the last papers of @IMAFungus on a joint effort of Brazilian mycologists, who gave a nice overview on their edible mushrooms. Several papers will soon be published by @PENSOFT in January (new homepage imafungus.pensoft.net)

Sebastian Pfütze has just finished his PhD defense at #tubraunschweig about bioactive compounds from mushrooms. 2 summa cum laude PhDs in 1 week (and 3 in a month) do not happen often in the same research group. We are very proud! Congrats & all the best for your future career!
