Also its also only a short drive to Summit County Metroparks, The Cuyahoga Valley National Park or Cleveland Metroparks. Some of the hike and bike trail connect and the Buckeye Trail runs through the region. Lots of options.

Is it just SanDisk? I recently had a 16gb card in my Canon camera become unreadable and non-formattable. Fortunately, I had all its photos on my PC. I've changed brands on most of my new memory cards since that occured.

I'll look for him on our next trip there. Did you eat at Howard's? BTW I was a beach bum down there for my first 30 yrs.

OMG, being across the pond I had no idea that Peter Storm was still around. I had one of their oiled wool sweaters back in the 70s and 80s. It was what I wore when I worked offshore for 7 yrs and was wearing it off Cape Cod when a rogue wave hit our ship. I was warm but soaked by that winter wave.

I didn't believe until my father-n-law died. On that day one of the children in the family who was about 3 was staring and talking up into a tree . Her mom asked her who she was talking to and she answered Uncle Don. "He says he will be okay". Nobody had told her he was sick or had passed.

Don't forget this chain also owns Homegoods and Sierra (Sierra Trading Post). My family shops at them all. Great stuff. at discount. Don't underestimate Homegoods or TJ Maxx in the food department. I've bought coffee beans, protein powder and snack foods from them.

I'll have to get my daughter and son-in-law to watch those Youtubes. Next year they are going to Manchester for MU soccer(football). Then they are taking trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Tracing our ancestral roots and my SIL has a Scot background. My family is a mix, mostly Scottish/Irish/Welsh.

She may have worked in a prosecutor's office for a bit but she worked for years doing insurance law. She was stoopid to have taken this stupid job and/or adapt to the change. She should go back to doing beauty pageants and other stuff like she did also. Not the sharpest crayon in the box.

When I was young we used to snorkel around the ocean piers in NC for lures. Used to get 5-10 nice ones every trip. We used a laundry basket floating in an inner tube for holding them between dives. People lost lures caught in the barnacles frequently. The beat up ones and bottom rigs we tossed.

I had little choice decades ago. My artificial lenses are now 25 yrs old and clear as when they went in. I'm not 20/20 but close enough that I went from very nearsighted to being moderately farsighted. One of the highest regional cataract occurrences is near Chesapeake Bay. I grew up 80 miles away.

Was at a local market where they had Italian made pasta for 4 lbs /$5. I should get more. I now have about 8 lbs stockpiled.

Mayfield has done pretty well but only after leaving the Browns. They are cursed.

I guess I was ahead of the curve with my scout knife when I started Cub scouts at 7. Didn't get a genuine SAK until I was in my teens.

Look for a hiking shoe with Vibram soles that reviews don't advertise as grippy. You will trade off grip for longevity but I had one pair of hiking boots that even with wearing to work lasted many years. A few other brands like Lowa, Vasque, Keen or Danner may be pricey but last as long.

Looking forward to some snow this year. In the Ohio snow belt we are expected to get a decent amount this year. I like to hike a 3-4 mile hike on the day after a big snowstorm. The last time I went out in single digits and a foot of snow I was the second person on the trail that day.
