Just an FYI for anyone. In your email you may see one from Martle. Its a phishing email which I tried to delete and block but it still comes back. I reported it to Google and MS. Happens with both browsers. Not sure what they can do to help but avoid this fake email until it can be eradicated.

Midwest living at its finest. When the doorbell rings from contracting in the cold, AT 7:30. So I got up to see no footprints in the snow and another 2 inches had fallen overnight. At least the plow truck cleared our street but left a 10" ridge on our drive. Fire up the snowblower!

Frozen waterfalls are the best. Especially when there is no trail and you have to hike 45 minutes in the stream to see it.

I got one last year. An awesome gift.
Found 10 rolls old print and slide film. Bought batteries to fire up several old 35mm cameras. Yashica SLR, Pentax SLR, Chinon SLR and Olympus point & shoot all working with new batteries. Adapting old lens to digital too. No waste.

Don’t ask why Donald Trump just ended free entry to our national parks on MLK Day and Juneteenth. He’s been a known racist most of his life. Instead ask, has he ever hiked, camped or biked in a national park? What interest did he have in this issue except insulting Black people?

A hike in the woods not far from our house a while ago. Took my small camera. The deer followed me for 10 minutes. Experimented with the Fisheye lens.

At the waterfall hike Friday the boardwalk section had a lock of love section. It was pretty large but I only took two pictures.
I used it to burn off breakfast before lunch and more Thanksgiving leftovers.

I've started trying vintage lenses on my Canon DSLR with adapters so I get good exposure. Here are two from a few months ago. The lens is a 1965 made Pentax 50mm 1.4f 8 element lens at about F4. The Canon thinks its wide open. Bought adapters for C, C/Y and M42 mounts.

Most people use a larger sensor camera like my Canon DSLR or a newer mirrorless with high MP count. These are however taken with a pocketable Pentax Q7 only 12mp. Great for hiking and #travel when you are concerned with weight or size but you want to take a variety of lenses.
