The Crazies - 2010

Memorable kills and heartbreaking deaths held together by the endlessly talented and charismatic Timothy Olyphant.

Blade Runner 2049 - (2017)

It plucks subtle notes about love, predjudice and purpose, while windmilling the stronger chords of humanity, greed and acceptance.

Dredd - (2012)

Gritty, violent, unashamedly loyal to its source material and yet its a highly original story. Dredd is a fantastic example of storytelling that doesnt pander to fans, but excites them.

Where the f**king sequel?

Hugh Grant could play Batman and be the right choice.

Physcological, theological and thoughtful horror at its best.

Manhunter - (1986)

Laden with moments of unnerving surrealism with the knack of making you feel like you're experiencing a waking dream, I will comfortably put this crime thriller into the horror category.

Predator 2 - 1990

For me, an underrated classic.

Could’ve easily been a retread of the first one, but they tried something a little different - and for the most part, it really worked.

The Terminator is the best film in the franchise...

To be clear, Terminator 2 is fantastic and quite frankly the movie franchise should've ended there, but I still don't think it captures the intense, frightening and emotional heart of the first installment.

The Collingswood Story - 2002

Possibly the first 'found footage' horror using the internet.

There's no way dial-up with this fast and reliable BUT for a really obscure film, the acting isn't too bad at all.

Builds tension and definitely worth a watch.
