I have no idea what I’m doing here.
Leave the government shutdown. Trump wants to burn it all down just so he can be king of the ashes. Fine. Let the calamity begin. “Sounding the alarm” has become a pointless exercise. Until non-news consuming Americans feel the pain of his presidency, nothing will change. He wants chaos. So be it.

I’m never entirely sure that consciousness is worth the effort. 😎

At some point we will have to admit that Freedom of Religion should also equate Freedom from Religion.

@jackohman.bsky.social Sorry, but your legalistic branding of Luigi’s act as simple murder is sweet and would ordinarily be admirable, but absurdly naive. I suggest you study history to understand how change actually occurs. Sometimes the powerful need to be checked in the only way they understand.

26 year old Luigi Mangione was detained on firearms charges and police say he is also a person of interest in the CEO assassination.

He was caught with a ghost gun that uses 9mm bullets, a silencer, a US passport, four fake IDs with names and what police claim is a manifesto.

Denying people life saving treatment is legal — just like slavery was. This is a time for American heroes. #nationalhero #deadceo #nathanhale

Freedom of Religion must come to me freedom FROM religion. My beliefs are ultimately as rabidly held as any Evangelical Christian’s. To dismiss them because I don’t eat crackers I literally believe are the human flesh of a man dead for 2000 years is insulting.

I have this strange, persistent feeling that there will something surprising — in a good way — in next year’s politics.
