Imagine being an old school Roomba and being picked up and moved to a new location. All of the sudden you can't subtract where you are from where you aren't, or where you aren't from where you are (whichever is greater), and obtain a difference, or deviation anymore. It must be terrifying.

I sympathize with Charlie Brown in the Christmas special. He gets asked to direct the play, has zero experience, goes home and reads up on directing, then no one wants to follow his instructions.

I would 100% do the same. Study up beforehand.
