Shocked by today’s attack on Heaton Park Synagogue in North Manchester, on Yom Kippur of all days. My thoughts are with the victims, their families & our Jewish community. I’m in touch with police & council to ensure Cheadle’s Jewish community has the support it needs.

As a new parent, this story hit me hard. You expect nurseries to be safe – to be a place of care, protection and trust.

This weekend’s terror arrest in Cheadle Hulme highlights a real threat. I met with members of our Jewish community on Sunday who no longer feel safe. I’ve called in Parliament for the IRGC to be proscribed as a terrorist group. It’s time the Government acts. #Cheadle #IRGC #Security
