Made a Halloween costume with one of my kids and we’re pretty pleased with it

As a student I spent a couple of summers working as a metrognome.
The metrognomes - promotional characters for the Metrocentre shopping mall in Gateshead UK. They’re coloured green, yellow blue and red to symbolise the four main zones of the mall. They have normal human size bodies with huge fibreglass heads on. Fun fact: the person inside the suit can see through the gnome’s mouth

Saw lots of pride flags in Amsterdam when we were there. My son asked what they are and we said ‘it’s a flag that says you should love people for who they are, even if they’re different’. So he told me I need to add one to the garage flag collection and he’s damn right

Really fun little project with my 7yo which went from pissing about with a guillotine to figuring ot how to cut up foam to make a pixel art rainbow.
A yellow card onto which sevral small squares of foam have been glued to form a pixellated rainbow. The rainbow has googly eyes and pipe cleaner arms added to it.
