Read this. There will be more of this and worse. And as collapse affects *YOU* more and more, prepare for your silence on this issue - don't rely on the fantasy that you will be one of the handful who, across history, have risked their freedom, safety, lives to do the right thing.

I'm just an ignorant Brit so can't comment on Mamdani win.

Just wonder that if peeps think this is the tide turning, they don't get that the roar they can hear in the distance is a monster tsunami.

And George Monbiot, for effing sake ...

Oh ... not just a wake having taken place but a person "waked". With poetic licence, could the dead, after the wake, be called "the waked"?

Very reluctantly, even I have to admit that *sometimes* this (pic below) is true.

Generally ahbor and despise this kind of thing, e.g. "whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Anyone saying that to me will get two replies 1) go and eff yourself; 2) and you would

This, apparently*, is the earliest known reference to Odin. It's a bracteate, gold coin from Denmark, early C5th AD/CE. Seems to depict stylised raven, stylised horse (?) and Odin (?)
