Belonging and psychological safety go hand in hand and are essential in any workplace - this makes me smile every time I go past it in school. Can't beat a bit of Brené Brown.

So can I ask why this has been allowed to happen? Why a school should think it’s ok to treat children like this? I really don’t think this should be allowed!? Help please?? #teachers #school #headteachers #education
The detentions will continue until you get better at Maths? It's hard to follow the logic here. Unless this headteacher sees being academically capable as a matter of choice, there is no reason at all to think that detentions for mistakes will improve learning.

Came across this Churchill quote while reading about Trump & Russia. But it’s not just about war - it’s a warning for us people pleasers too. Sometimes, trying to keep the peace only delays the inevitable.

Home ed group today. This morning the WhatsApp group pinged with "anyone got any maths games we could borrow?". These are the messages I was born for :)
One of my worries with the Children's Wellbeing Bill is that groups like this could get pulled into the reporting requirements.

Having a very bright and clever dyslexic child makes you see just how unfair the system is. His soul was nearly destroyed but we took matters into our own hands just in time. It doesn’t need to be this way. 🙏
