Normal person. Dog, husband, kids (all grown up). I like learning new things but find it a little harder for it all to sink in these days. Love life, love fantasy.
A brilliant app for when you're in a taxi, someone elses's car. Also great for winning music themed quizzes (Our team won the champagene. (Cheating is acceptable when there's champagne))

Yep. Colleague in work told me this as fact yesterday.

I say if your impression of the mirror has been proven wrong before, in time, then no need to give it much credence in the present.

That is so cute.

The report states that the EU wouldn't be up for this, the EU have just agreed to it. This is a pilot that re-opens a safe route into the UK, and I hope it eventually expands. Small boat crossings must be deterred. They are dangerous, they prey on the vulnerable and it is hard for the UK to track.

Are those hanging lights for real? They're brilliant x

This time around Farage received a lot of votes for "change", and against the "establishment", but the case with Lowe, involving police and "woke bullying", has gone against the very mindset that reform has been building their platform on and nurturing. Farage will keep reform, but in what state?

It said something about the companies project proposal changing which resulted in the governments funding offer being reduced. Defo more to the story.

But would they? Reform I mean. With such a low turnout, would this be mirrored in a larger more inclusive vote? Reform and it's supporters have the loudest voices, so it's not suprising they got so many votes. 14% of the votes went to reform but 40% of people didn't vote.

Maybe not PR, but fptp is not a good system. The turn outs are getting smaller possibly as a result of the population feeling disconnected from the whole process. We are in a place where only a few are deciding for the whole and this will not change under fptp.

I don't usually agree with referendums, but a well worded one could be had on this to see how much the public engage when they think their vote counts. (Advisory only. We don't want a repeat of anything crazy.) Too many elections with very low turnouts is not good for any kind of democracy.

All I can find is your assertion that a trial could have led to further charges brought against Murdoch. But the financial costs of this trial would still have been charged against Harry; and Murdoch, knowing this, would have made it as expensive as possible.

He couldn't afford it! If he'd continued his case and won he'd have been bankrupted. This is why so many people have been forced to accept the settlements already. The NGN had so far spent over 1bn defending/settling cases. They are far more powerful and wealthier than Harry.

It's seems as though so many people are dis-satisfied with their lives that more and more are wanting to believe in conspiracy.

But even when faced with the truth people are not changing their minds. Even on twitter the truth is available but people still argueing with it. An extreme example is "families have requested details not to be shared on social media" = "PM has forced them to say that, to hide the details"
