This happened to a black family in Cape Coral Florida a couple of days ago. The new house they had just bought was vandalized -doors ripped off, and walls torn up. Good law abiding citizens. No one deserves this. They often ask why we vote blue- it is for our safety.

I have lived in an authoritarian government. When the leader comes after free speech- at first you think it won't affect you. But as more dissenters are punished, you end up looking over your shoulder in fear of who might hear you and report you. It is suffocating. Speech becomes a crime. #FCC

I hear they are coming for naturalized citizens. I also hear the legal process takes very long (assuming they follow it). My fear is they will send us to that alligator place to wait for years. It is a death sentence. #deportations

It has been proposed that modern society gained an enhanced empathetic capability in the 18th century with the widespread distribution and practice of reading novels. Prior to this time, the general population did not have a rate of literacy which would make distributing a fictional book viable.

Back in January, thousands of real refugees who had already bought plane tickets and were ready to fly in, to resettle or reunite with family, were stopped from coming. Also, TPS revocations against various brown people continue. This is ugly and Maga is cruel. #SouthAfrica

I've had to cancel a trip to Canada and lost some money after reading stories of naturalized citizens being detained and harrassed. I wish someone would explain what is happening. We can't live like this for 4 years. #congress #immigration #america

The wife was asked repeatedly if she wanted to voluntarily give up their citizenship. She told them no. This is their home. They were eventually released but were shaken. WTF is this?
