Making faux cable fingerless mittens. Knitted flat as I find knitting in the round on DPN’s makes my fingers seize up. I can’t be bothered using magic loop method.

Still a few flowers out after the icy weather and snow. Don’t think the Fuchsia I bought in summer is doing very well. Not grown at all and only had a few flowers that drop off before blooming.

Thinking back to when we were kids how much I loved my buttoned dressing gown. I absolutely hate wearing dressing gowns as I feel messy in them -it’s the belt just makes me uncomfortable. I might ask Santa for one

Snow does look pretty in the countryside

Gone to see progress on son’s new place. Said I’d wear big sturdy boots due to weather. Husband convinced me it’d be fine & to wear normal boots. I did. Could only walk a few feet with help (icy/muddy) and had to go back to the car. Annoyed everyone as I’m an idiot who wore innapropriate footwear.

Our poor little grey cat is getting it in the neck from our Siamese as she thinks he went to the vet. They usually sleep in the same bed but she’s growling at him. He looks very sad.

He wasn’t happy about his visit to the vets. Hopefully his meds will help him with his snuffling. Still not found his carrier. Had to go in one we bought years ago that’s never been used. Came with a handle to attach. Nowhere to attach it! Husband had to carry him in like a big parcel.

Husband went in loft. No cat carrier. Apart from the ones for the other two cats. Now he’s checking the shed 🤷‍♀️

Little Siamese girl trying to keep warm. Feels very icy and has been snowing since early afternoon.

Husband booked Marmy into vet today …at a time I can’t go. I’ll be on edge until they‘re home as he doesn’t always fasten the carrier properly. I dread Marmy falling out & getting lost. I keep the carrier in the garage in case of emergencies. Went to bring it in to warm up. He put it in the loft 🤷‍♀️

She’s moved to the table so she‘s as near as possible to the heater. Taken a scraggly piece of knitting with her.

So sad. Our teachers made silly jokes & we loved it. I was from the north in a school in the Mids so was referred to as a wild wooly barbarian by my history teacher. The male PE teacher would walk round eating a bag of chips & smoking. Different times 🤷‍♀️
The ill-advised remarks by teacher that ended with him losing his life

Husband was going on about someone from Gatchamalla. I asked him to repeat and he smugly said I thought you’d have heard of it. Told him I’ve heard of Guatemala. Then he said “oh is that how you say it”. I hope he hasn’t been saying it to others. For years he insisted sci-fi was “sky-fi”.

I love the vibrancy of this plant. Moved it to a new spot as it was on the fireplace and when the dogs play fight they catch the leaves damaging them.

Saw on Reddit a piece about AI being used on products Debenhams were selling. The difference between the image and the item the buyer received was shocking. I used to send gifts to friends directly from stores but won’t be doing that any more.

He’s been extra loving today. I tried a bit of the relaxing spray I bought for the pets for when they visit the vets. They use it in the cats’ waiting room so thought I’d give it a go, sparingly. Didn’t realise it has CBD oil in it.

One of my favourite photos of our little Siamese girl. “Blep” 😛

A mini me I made for Marmy. It’s just a tatty piece of knitting now as our rescue dog pulled it apart.

I made fairy lights a few years (knitted) which our little Siamese claimed. They’re her favourite toys. Making a new batch of them as they’ve all gone missing. Probably something to do with the dogs.
