a (female) friend once pitched an idea in a writers’ room and it was basically ignored. two minutes later, zaltz pitched it verbatim. the producer responded positively and Zaltz said “thanks, actually [female comedian] said that two minutes ago, but maybe you didn’t hear it though the estrogen”.

not opening. That’ll show them. But seriously it’s mad to go with The Tortoise deal when it’s such a shitty deal, there are other, better financed, better qualified bidders that Guardian News and Media are not acknowledging. It makes no sense.
