I read this year on my ITT placement and really enjoyed it. The class used it for their writing stimulus and lots of them produced really good inovated writes based on passages of it. 😀

It is a really supportive school - I spent far too many hours on school things but if I didn't I'd have no lessons to teach 😂 My book is now calling me though so hopefully a few hours to relax! I hope you have had a relaxing weekend.

😔 that is not good. I keep hearing tales of the old head/exec head of my current school and am amazed how many staff stayed! Tough times need everyone to club together & be supportive.

Honestly, I've struggled but after several visits from the head (we have informal drop ins weekly) I was awarded 'teacher of the week' for one of the lessons I was finding most tricky, & had a lovely chat with them & our exec head! I may not feel tip-top but I love my school for being so supportive.

now I'm making sure everything else is planned for when I go back tomorrow! Quite glad that although I was feeling very poorly for 12 hours, lots of sleep/rest means that I can get bits done today so that I'm not on a total back foot (I've not got quite my usual ECT time to catch up in either).

I was out in 13 hours last year.... sad times! I know of someone who played it at their wedding and deliberately left the disco just before so they could outlast their friends!

That's not including the carnage of coming in from lunch, doing the register, settling back into learning, transition time between the sessions, interruptions for children going out for interventions etc and trying to spend 15 minutes reading. Why don't they teach this kind of voodoo in training!?!

Snap! I'm trying to set up lists and sorting settings so that I see who/what I want to see more easily and am hoping that will help.
