It can be frustrating to hear “I don’t know” or “we don’t have a good treatment for that.” I’ve been there myself as a patient and it really sucks. It’s human nature to not accept that and want someone to give you answers and cures. That’s how medical grifts are such a massively profitable industry.
“Grifters lurk in the gaps in medical knowledge”—THANK YOU! There ARE gaps, especially in stigmatized or evolving conditions, but navigating them safely & responsibly is complicated and full of hazards…like dangerous grifters.
