Nadim Zahawi arrived in the UK from Iraq as a child refugee. His family claimed asylum once they were here. Today he has joined Reform who will stop all in country asylum applications. Under his new party, his own family fleeing persecution would be immediately deported.

Nigel Farage & Alex Phillips have been awfully quiet about Nathan Gill pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery relating to pro-Russia statements made in European parliament and articles.

Just wanted to refresh their memories about how they were all a team through that period.

Any fool blithely saying they’ve now had a bit of a think about the ECHR and we should leave - is part of why we’re now stuck in the mess of Brexit, being told by the far right to hand our human rights over to them to administer.
FFS people. Have you learned nothing from the last decade of failure?

So just today there are reports of

Knife crime down everywhere bar Greater Manchester (6-25%)

And

The number of asylum seekers in hotels is down from 50,000 (2023) to 34,000 today.

Where is this reported. And why is it not reported?

Is the plan seriously to arrest acquiescence into the populace, now. Does nobody see how insane this makes all of these people look? The public can see what “Tel Aviv” has been doing to starving civilians for weeks now, lads.

I’ve joined 41 MPs demanding that David Lammy comes clean over damning allegations that UK arms exports to Israel continued despite a supposed suspension.

If true, it would be a grave breach of the Ministerial Code — & raises urgent questions about whether Parliament was misled.

Thames Water has been given a £3 billion bailout, paid for by you and me.

Why should households have to pay for the mess that Thames Water got itself into, just so execs and shareholders can protect their profits?

There is a better solution: take water into public ownership.

Still, our government refuses to implement sanctions and defend international law.

There is no other way of putting it: this is a resumption of genocide — and our government is complicit.
