In 2018, I presented my Bachelors thesis at the biggest Microbiology conference in the Philippines and won the best presentation award. In 2021, I also got a presentation award for my Masters thesis in Taiwan. Last week, I presented my PhD work to the European Macrophage and DC Society in UK. (1/n)

It just feels surreal that after crossing the horizons to search for greener pastures, I ended up in the happiest place on Earth and found the love of my life: my strength in times of darkness, my biggest supporter when I felt like losing some grip. I’m lucky.
