Medicare is a complete anathema for the LNP - it's so far out of their increasingly Trumpian ideology it's almost at the ISS.

Dutton didn't take the wind out of Albanese's sails, he *copied* him. That puts wind *in* the PM's sails. He did something the opposition was desperate to neutralise.

But I guess this is what the election will be: A knee-jerk tendency of too many in the media to frame things negatively for Labor.
