I know there's meant to be a certain amount of suspension of disbelief when consuming fantasy media, but every now and again, there'll be a phrase or saying used that 100% would not exist in the setting, and it's hard to not let it pull you right out

Thinking back on it, Journey is a terrible name for a video game. Sure, it does exactly what it says on the tin, but it'd be like name a game "Adventure" or an FPS "Shooter".

I got to the end of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 again last, and it still holds up wonderfully, even after 20 years (or as much as a game that was rushed to release can hold up technically)

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting MCM Comic Con in London! Meeting everyone there was a delight, and artists alley was chock full of amazing stuff, definitely want to go back again in May!

If you're name is Bill (or William I guess), you've already got an easy fallback when giving your PC a name, you can just call it Bill's PC. And then pretend that was the intention all along.

Been replaying Knights of the Old Republic 2 a bunch at the minute, and it's always such a treat to revisit. Been through the game about a dozen times, but there's always something new to uncover, an extra layer to the narrative to peek into.

There's always things that can be improved with .NET MAUI, but being able to whip up an app that pulls data from a DB and displays it in a useful way on several platforms in under an hour is really nifty.
