There used to be info about it on @tcrf.net, but it's no longer there. Thankfully, @archive.org has it covered.

It's a drawing of programmer David Leitch done by his then 6 year old brother. (Source: VideoGames: The Ultimate Gaming Magazine, Vol VI, Issue 12, Dec 94, p.28)

Anybody how ever look at it was said "UH DUR, YOU NEED 3 HANDS TO USE IT" didn't realize that no game was ever set up as such. It was quite comfortable to use.

@danamrich.bsky.social Something I find a little odd. Human Smoke uses his fake MKII portrait instead of his MKT portrait for both The Krypt and On-Screen Move List. Why is that? He doesn't have portrait for UMK3, which makes sense as he never had one in that game, but he has several to choose from.

The documentary part of MK Legacy Kollection by @digitaleclipse.bsky.social is great. The only additions I wish were included are the MKM tape, & interviews from more of the original cast, their inspirations/contributions to the games, & some perspective on "Pesina v. Midway Mfg Co" from both sides.

@digitaleclipse.bsky.social @frostman007.bsky.social @danamrich.bsky.social @kohler.bsky.social sky.social Great job on MK Legacy Kollection everyone. But I do need to point out that the original MK comic is missing the 3rd page.

This will be the first time the original Mortal Kombat has ever been officially released uncensored on a Nintendo console. First Night Trap released on a Nintendo console, now uncensored Mortal Kombat. 1993 Howard Lincoln would have had kittens!

Before being killed by the original Sub-Zero, without his mask, he looked suspiciously like Johnny Cage. They could almost be the same person...

That looks like a drawing of Jeffrey Hunter as Jesus.

I think it's less bisexual energy, and more just the style of the time. This comic takes place post-Secret Wars, which puts it in the mid-80s, when dudes wearing crop tops and short shorts was pretty common.

"Godzilla vs. The Thing" with the "Godzilla vs. Mothra" title screen that aired during TNT's Godzillabash marathon over Thanksgiving weekend 1994.

I'm amused that the biggest take away that people have from the official Nintendo Switch 2 reveal is that a prong that nobody has ever held in their hands maybe might possibly break, and Donkey Kong looks weird now.

I'm sure those are suppose to be high heels like in the artwork of the time, but that puppet looks like it has hooves.

The guy on the right looks like he was referenced from the same Predator photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger that Lance Bean was referenced from for the Contra artwork.

This art was originally from the MK tie-in comic by John Tobias for the first MK game.

Every time I see this footage, it's a friendly reminder to me that Shigeru Miyamoto is a Paul Heyman Guy.

It figures that when I finally rank number 1 in the Nintendo World Championships, it'd be for a game I don't even like.

These aren't that bad. Now that 80s Pac-Man plush based off the Bally Midway art...that's creepy.
