I have a question. Who is the next Bernie Sanders? I'm not seeing one among our current crop of politicians and I'm sad thinking no one will take up his principled mantle when he's gone.

The Republican sock puppet running the Kennedy Center has suggested Lin-Manuel Miranda's cancellation of "Hamilton" at the Center is a publicity stunt.

A trip through my local library's digital collection unearthed The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes series by Leonard Goldberg. I've always been a Holmes fan. First story was good and I'm on to the second. Reading is fun!

The reading continues as I work my way through Lincoln Rhyme in "The Burial Hour" on the way to "The Cutting Edge." Jeffery Deaver does great work.

Finishing up Jeffrey Deaver's The Skin Collector and on the way to starting The Deliveryman. I've enjoyed, if one can say "enjoyed" about crime fiction, all of his books and I'll be a little glum when I've wrapped up the series.

I gave up on traditional broadcast news and cable news somewhere between 2016 and 2020. All those outlets were trending toward being Fox-lite or worse. Other than local stations I've stuck to Reuters and AP, and follow The Guardian and some smaller outlets. I don't feel like I've missed much.
