Totally agree. Musk and his Silicon Valley ilk are attempting to create heaven on earth just like the Nazis and Communists attempted. Trump is more along the lines of a South American or African dictator. No real ideology besides enriching himself and an obsessive need for adulation.

It’s astonishing to watch her pivot from MAGA conspiracy wingnut to “normal.” She seems to be well ahead of the trends. She knows the public is starting to tire of the “post truth” Trump era.

This is it exactly. Will thinks things are better now because you can travel anywhere in the world, have an internet in your pocket, and buy cool TVs. At the same time, the median age of homeownership is now 38, grads have over $1 trillion in student debt, and health insurance is very expensive.

I have the same job my dad had, but no way could I afford the house I grew up in now. My lifestyle is definitely worse than it would have been as an adult in the 80s or 90s. I think there are structural reasons for this that no politician could fix, but nostalgia is not always wrong.

It’s underrated how stupid this man really is. Incredibly talented marketer and politician and he knows how to appeal to the dark side of humanity. His ideas once in office however are of that of a middle schooler.

I’m not just talking policy I’m talking culture as well. Hippies were still a thing in the 1970s. Carter gave a “malaise” speech and told Americans to make do with less. The idea is to rig the election so much that we have a Russia type election in 2026 and then the GOP will end up with 75% of seats in both houses of congress and then the GOP will pass a law to undo the 22nd amendment. They aren’t as smart or cute as they think they are.
