I feel Air Europa is a bit of lost brand in the aviation world. I think they should brand around being the EU's airline, with a darker blue, and a focus on connecting the EU's main centres of population. At the moment they're a bit of a Spanish also-ran with minimal personality.

Considering how uncomfortable most flying is, I think we can be forgiven for keeping our posh frocks tucked away and flying in whatever togs help us get through the ordeal with a modicum of dignity.

A bit less sure about my music purchases, I'd researched a few that I couldn't find except this Replikas CD, but - on advice - went for Cem Karaca too, father of Anatolian rock, who might not be up my street, but the guys in the shop were so proud of him I couldn't say no

Now in a rainy Istanbul with a hotel breakfast designed expertly around all my food dislikes - I'm struggling through a bowl of Alpen, that's what this has come to.

Then just had to check in for my early flight to Istanbul tomorrow ... age is catching with me these days, my old bones are not as robust as they once were and am really not looking forward to getting back on a plane so soon.

Overthinking is what I do, without that I am nothing.

I'm in two minds on this - it's a hell of a run of games to be putting someone new in, on the other hand, a new manager bounce might be the only way to get anything between now and Xmas.

I'd recommend Never Let Me Go

It really is, and the follow-up was even better in my opinion. Their latest album is pretty decent too.
