I saw some terns resting on their migration route—the sanctuary serving its purpose! They don’t stay long. But this one pair was rambunctious. Randy, even! Or at least one of them was. The sequence suggested a three-act play.
In this sequence of shots, there is a birdhouse with two terns above it. One is perched on the roof and the other is trying to fertilize some eggs, perhaps, but doing a terrible job of it. His wings are spread and he’s standing on her back, looking down. Her beak is open. Text above him says Am I doing this right? And text next to her says No, Frank, not even close. The male tern is now stomping down on her right shoulder and her head is down. Text says How about this, then? And she is saying what the fuck, Frank? Now the male tern has both feet planted on her shoulder blades and the text says This has got to be it, come on! And she says No! Why are you so bad at this?

I very recently tumbled headfirst into the world of loom-knitting. I'm still learning, and to challenge myself, I joined a loom-along on Ravelry.com to learn even more. This is the result: A spiral hat byMsYarn Designs! I love this spiral, there's so much happy in it. Now onto the next project!
