Heatwave's last major update, will be available on NOVEMBER 12!!! It will also be releasing on steam then as well. Most notably, it will contain a ~100k word visual novel story mode, and 4 new "secret" characters, along with balance changes, and bug fixes. ❤️

We are going to take a little more time to finish up our planned content for launch. Keep an eye out for our full release in Summer of 2026.

(FWIW, the current state of the game has far surpassed my goals for Early Access back in 2022.)

MEGA KNOCKDOWN NOW LEAVING EARLY ACCESS IN SUMMER 2026 Due to the financial realities of indie game dev, Mega Knockdown is developed by one programmer and one artist in our spare time--we both have full time jobs. Our plan in 2025 was to go for full release by the end of this year,but by our projections, we are going to need more time to completeour 1.0 goals, which include new stages, new endings, and a new character. For this reason, we are now targeting Summer 2026 for full release. We will continue to put out regular updates while we finish up Early Access,as we have for the last 3+ years. We’re not going anywhere!
