Heung-min Son has decided to leave Tottenham this summer.
I have asked to leave Spurs. My decision has been made, I did my best here and I need a fresh challenge now. It’s the most difficult decision of my life. I came to north London as a kid. I leave as a young man.

For all my #AEJMC friends, please consider voting for @acadianjprof.bsky.social Greg Perreault for the vice president in the upcoming elections! He is an amazing scholar teacher, but most importantly, just an amazing human through and through. Can't wait to see what he can bring to AEJMC!
#AEJMC! I’m running for vice president in the upcoming elections. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing about why, but for now I’ll just say that @aejmc.bsky.social has meant a lot to me professionally, and I know I’ll work hard for a #futurefriendlyaejmc

Looks like it will be a sleepless Friday night for me....
South Korea's opposition says the vote to impeach Yoon will happen at 7pm on Saturday, reports the Chosun Ilbo.

Yoon's ruling party says it will fight against the impeachment, though it isn't clear whether they can prevent enough defections to stop it.

The worst scenario is NK seeing Yoon's regime as a threat and declaring 'liberation' of the SK... This will start a war...
which then would make the whole situation into something that the White House has to directly deal with (if it hasn’t been already). Some fundamental stuff inscribed in US-ROK alliance.
Important piece here. The Dec 3 self-coup ended w/o bloodshed, thanks to poor coordination and passive resistance by rank-and-file troops deployed to the Natl Assembly. But there’s a non-0 chance of a bloodied one, esp if Yoon decides to “drag” NKorea into his political adventurism.

We shouldn’t rush to dismiss President Yoon's #MartialLawOrder as simply "crazy" and move on. We need to uncover exactly what happened, when it began, and what the ultimate goal was. New evidence hints it may have been planned in advance, involving individuals we have yet to identify. #SouthKorea
#SouthKorea 50 minutes before the #MartialLaw Commander was appointed, the 3rd Airborne Brigade entered the National Election Commission and occupied it for over 3 hours. Evidence suggests the order preceded the martial law declaration.

Who ordered this, and for what purpose? We need answers.
