I'm just trying to say everything I know about Miller tells me he would cheat on every exam. And, if he snuck into the teacher's office to steal the answers ahead of time, the crib sheet he'd sell you would be at least half wrong.

I don't think Miller has ever been competent at anything which is why he evokes Shatner, whose captain famously cheated on exams, to represent a vision of Star Trek. Joke is doubly on Miller. Captain Kirk would have rejected Miller on the show and Shatner underwent an epiphany after going to space.

The problem for Miller especially is Star Trek has always been about competence. People are highly skilled. They have worked, and continue to work, hard and have to rely on other people with similar values in order to be successful. Star Wars has always been about the special person.

This obfuscation is very important for the AGI boosters tho since it allows them to conflate the success of narrow ML with the (banal) existence of LLMs.

Her reinstated grade is just an academic participation trophy. It's all so transparently performative.

Luckily it's not a ban on already approved drones and drone types so the existing DJI models can be sold still. There's also SkyDio which is upping its game. The aspect of this that's protectionism for Trump donors sucks for sure.

Yes to all of this. Our neighborhood elementary school is relatively convenient but the high school and middle school require crossing several heavily trafficked streets and 287.

Scheduling and proximity are two major reasons I haven't had my kids bus. We're too close for the bus to even come and too far for them to walk. Biking is an option we haven't gotten to yet.

I guess that's true. Also it's not disgusting unless you don't like root beer

Ash seeds do have weight to them, it's true. I have trouble with the elm leaves that migrate across the street.

I don't know how big locust leaves are, but the blower handles ash seeds pretty well.

I just bought an eGo leaf blower. Was giving serious thought to their powered snow shovel
